I’ll never forget the first time I stepped into the Kenai River to try my hand at Sockeye Salmon Fishing. The fishing was incredible, but what stood out more was the tranquil sound of the river, the brown bear I saw fishing just below me and all the smiling faces of fly fishing anglers floating by on drift boats hoping to catch a legendary Kenai River Rainbow Trout or Dolly Varden.

Using hand-hewn spruce logs from the property, they built their Alaskan dream home in the mountains of Cooper Landing. Designed for your utmost comfort, our Cooper Landing Angler's Lodge has cozy beds, rustic log furniture and designated areas to unwind and take it all in after a fun day on the river. You’ll get the feeling that you are stepping back in time to when the lodge was originally built and anglers first started to discover the Kenai River in Cooper Landing. You’ll feel right at home with the accommodations at our lodge property.
Exclusive Guided Fishing Experiences
Aside from excellent fishing a short distance from the lodge, we also offer guided fishing through Cooper Landing Fishing Guide, LLC on both the Kenai River and Kasilof river for both salmon and trout. Fishing trips are great for any and all ages and ability levels. Whether you want to try your hand at fly fishing or conventional fishing, we have the tailored experience for you! All gear is provided ensuring a hassle-free fishing adventure.
