Exit the Anchorage International Airport onto International Airport Road and proceed to Minnesota Drive. Turn right and proceed to Alaska Hwy 1 (New Seward Hwy). Go south on Alaska Hwy 1 ninety miles to the intersection of Alaska Hwy 1 and Alaska Hwy 9. Take the right fork (Homer/Soldotna exit) and continue approximately 8.6 miles, through Cooper Landing until reaching Blakely Street. Turn left onto Blakely Street, which is marked by a sign for the lodge. Once on Blakely, stay left at the first fork and continue directly into the lodge.

How do I get to the lodge?
We can give you a list of car rental agencies in Anchorage.
What type of wildlife are we likely to see in Cooper Landing?
Moose, grizzly bears, black bears, fox, Dall sheep and mountain goats.
Where is the closest grocery store and major shopping centers?
Cooper Landing has a small convenience store. Anchorage has large 24-hour super markets where you can stock up for your stay. Soldotna (45 minutes from the lodge) has a 24-hour Fred Meyer's Super Center.
Should I book my adventure before our arrival?
We strongly recommend making reservations for fishing and other activities in advance. We can help you make these reservations.
What age to you have to be for the activities?
Most of the activities are great for the young and the old. Fishing trips and horseback riding the minimum age is 8 years old.
Can beginners go fishing?
Absolutely. Alaska is a great place to begin a love for fishing.

Will I need to bring special equipment for fishing?
The lodge has everything you will need for a fly fishing or spin fishing adventure. We can rent you waders, fishing rods, tackle, bait and good luck!!
What will the temperature and daylight be in the summer months?
The summer in Alaska is very pleasant. At night, although the sun never completely sets, it can dip down to the 40's. On June 21st, the summer solstice, the sun will shine for 19 hours.
What should I pack and wear?
Dress in layers, temperatures can vary by 10-20 degrees throughout the day.
What species of fish can you fish for in Cooper Landing?
King salmon, reds (Sockeye), silver salmon, rainbow trout, dolly varden and grayling.
